WARRANTY
Warranty Period - Marathon Electric warrants Fractional and Integral motors to be free from defects in materials and workmanship and to conform to Marathon's written specifications for a period of twelve (12) months from date of first use or eighteen (18) months from date of manufacture, whichever period shall expire first.
Warranty Period for Blue Chip XRI ® -- Marathon warrants the Blue Chip XRI® Energy Efficient Series to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, and to conform to Marathon's written specifications for a period of thirty-six (36) months from date of first use or forty-two (42) months from date of manufacture, whichever period shall expire first.
Warranty Period for Inverter Duty -- Marathon warrants the Blue Max® and Black Max® inverter duty motors and most accessories to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, and to conform to Marathon's written specifications for a period of twenty-four (24) months from date of first use or thirty (30) months from date of manufacture, whichever period shall expire first.
Warranty Period for IEEE841 Spec -- Marathon warrants the IEEE841 motor to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, and to conform to Marathon's written specifications for a period of sixty (60) months from date of first use or sixty-six (66) months from date of manufacture, whichever period shall expire first.
